Inertia creeps.
Here’s a creepy b&w short film I did just recently. It’s the first time I filmed something, so take you time to praise bash this no-budget production.
Anyone who can guess from which title I borrowed the sounds will receive an honourable mention in the end credits! 😃
Please, watch with headphones as there are some weird sounds and I highly recommend switching to YouTube HD quality.

Oooh! Something to watch! We’ll be back to watch this soon!
And you betcha we’ll be taking a shot at the “sounds” question pronto!
(Might have to dig around for our spooky-dooky video, now that I think about it.)

Haha it’s just 1 minute and a half 😋 which spooky-dooky video?!

Oh, we did some silly video some years ago. I don’t actually think any of us have it any longer, but it was a 4 minute short we did around our local pubs back at the time. Going to watch yours soon!

This was very unsettling and creepy, which is meant as a compliment. The combination of sounds and imagery did a great job in making this one of those things that just gets under your skin. It made me think a bit of Silent Hill and the opening for American Horror Story. Great job! 😀

Very creative indeed Mr Bobby. Love the use of light and the black and white images are cool. Funny what you can do with a rubber glove 🙂 Great stuff dude

Thanks, Mike! Yes, that rubber glove just freaked me out. I can’t stand them 😫 The light was like that just in early morning and late afternoon. Have you tried to film something by yourself? Mine was short but tough experience.

Your hard work paid of my friend, next project a 3 hour epic? LOL . No I haven’t made anything myself before. Maybe one day I will do a fly on the wall study of my day to day wolfing around 🙂

No, but I was mostly inspired by works of Jonas Mekas and Vladimir Korbin plus I was doing a videoediting course 😁 Haha you should, you have a great sense of humour 🙄

I really liked the sounds used in your short horror. It works with the imagery and reminded me of the classic sci fi horrors I am fond of, notably Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Many thanks, Madame Vintage! Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956) is one my favourite movies. I saw it just few months ago and it made a big impact on me… The sounds, however, weren’t done by me. They were taken from a brilliant soundtrack for Silent Hill 2 videogame which is incredibly creepy.

Ah I see well the music is very fitting here. And yes I have played the game though I did not pick up on the sound track as it has been quite some time.

Akira Yamaoka did a brilliant job.

Yes he is a superb composer. In particular I like the soundtrack – Theme of Laura from Silent hill 2

‘Theme of Laura’ has always been one of my favourite because it’s so uplifting among the heavy story… ‘Promise’ too. Silent Hill 4… I haven’t played it, but I had the score and it were beautiful too (‘Room Of Angel’).

I have only played the first and second game awhile ago but I have heard the song you speak of and it is indeed beautiful to hear again.

I really liked it! The sound and images. Tense and the audience immediately wants to find out more. A great job for the first try in making something like this.

Thanks!! I am happy you liked it, as you are a good cinema expert. I hope it didn’t feel like a random combination of images.
